Good Idea: Someone should remake that movie "Contact," except instead of it being about a person who finds aliens, it’s about a graduate student who spends so much time in the library she forgets other humans exist. Also, Burt Reynolds should be in the movie. Bad Idea: One Jerry Seinfeld bit that probably wouldn’t do well would be, "What’s the Deal with Hegemonic Structures?” Random Thought: A lot of people talk about how bad Gertrude Stein’s writing is. The one thing those people don’t think about, though, is how her writing was experimental. Take another look, skeptics, and you’ll see that Stein was a bold innovator, a genius like Da Vinci or Edison. Except, to be fair, her experiments never lead to an actual discovery, and her books aren't good. |
