Third Date (or Later) Confessions

Dating can be tricky, and perhaps the trickiest part can be deciding what to say, and when. Some things, you’ll want to confess right away. “I’m a sexaholic” … “I find Enya’s music uplifting and pleasant” … “I insist that the dairy lobby has hoodwinked the entire nation into thinking milk is a necessary part of a well balanced diet.” Some tidbits you’ll want to keep to yourself forever: “I like Howie Mandel’s standup comedy” … “I have fantasies about having sex while canning stewed tomatoes” … “I voted for Bush in 2004.” But which items make up the middle territory? What should wait until the third date or later to say?

You have an imaginary friend … who sometimes does your homework for you.
The taste of beer causes a small voice inside your head to say “yyyyeeessss.”
You’re chronically messy … but hate other people’s messes.
When you lose your temper, you call people “sluts,” regardless of their gender.
You’ve memorized the screenplay to “Highlander.”
People who don’t like “Highlander”? Sluts.
You have an overzealous interest in Al Franken.
The absence of whiny protest music leaves you sleepless.
You write poetry … lot’s of poetry.
When you watch a debate on TV, you yell at the pundits, occasionally throwing food at the screen.
Three words: daily pot user.
You like to start every morning with a cup of coffee and a loud, angry phone call to one of your credit card companies.
